OIS ART OF CANADA is a not-for-profit organization based in Toronto, Canada. It was established in 2018 to
promote and exchange art and culture between Korea and multi -cultural communities in Canada with various
seminars, workshops, and exhibitions.

The goal of OIS ART OF CANADA is to foster an international creative exchange, create deeper understanding and
harmony across cultures by enhancing community bonds with art. The organization is developing opportunities
through the introducing art trends; and building network between Korea and Canada by providing artistic
exchange programs, collaborative exhibitions, and traditional art workshops.

Also, the organization has strived to bring harmony to a variety of different generations and communities
by hosting cultural events, cultural exchanges, and educational programs. Our various artistic activities can
improve the quality of life of each community member by helping them enjoy new skills in a safe, inclusive, age
appropriate environment.

- Mandate

OIS ART OF CANADA plays an essential role in:
● promoting the excellence of Canadian culture and art to Korea, and Korean
culture and art to Canada by organizing culturally diverse programs,
performances and exhibitions in both countries.

● Increasing Canadian artists and art professionals access to new
opportunities to Korean art society, by developing international interchange of
exhibits and participating in global events.

● Organizing various activities to share culturally diverse artists, and their
artistic practices with multi-cultural communities in Canada
● Providing art educational programs for the ‘discovery and training of great
Artists’ for the next generation.
