Congratulatory Address

I sincerely congratulate you on the opening of the “Korea-Türkiye Art Exchange Exhibition.” I think it is very
meaningful that the “Korea-Türkey Art Exchange Exhibition” is held every year.

First of all, I sincerely hope that the Türkish government and the city of Malatya, which suffered unprecedented
disaster damage last year, will make a full recovery as soon as possible.

The Pohang International Art Fair, held in several cities every year, has a meaning beyond simply showcasing
various works in a new space. This is because the venue for artistic dialogue and exchange between cities not
only provides artists with new inspiration and broadens their worldview, but also serves as a bridge that unites and
understands each other.

I hope that the harmony and dialogue created by the works of art in different cities will provide new inspiration
and insight to all of us, while also becoming a meaningful step toward breaking down the walls of regional culture
between cities and creating a foundation for mutual growth.

I would like to congratulate you again on the opening of the “Korea-Türkiye Art Exchange Exhibition” and hope
that Korea and Türkiye, Pohang and Malatya Metropolitan City will remain as strong supporters and friends of each
other today.

I hope that through this meaningful event today, our relationship will become stronger, and that it will be a great
comfort and vitality to many Türkish people, and I wish health and happiness to all who participated.
