Congratulatory Address

I sincerely congratulate you on the opening of ‘the 2024 New Silk Road International Academic Conferences’ Malatya
Korea Culture Days, the 3rd Cappadocia Academic Conference, Art Pohang Exhibition.

The Korepck village, built with 202 containers and a cultural center with the support of Koreans during the last major
earthquake, contributed to the reconstruction of Malatya society. I am proud that they have been reborn as a venue for
exchanges between the two countries.

I expect that the Korean Culture Week will be a valuable experience for the residents of the Malatya region and
overseas Koreans to enjoy various Korean exhibitions, performances, and food culture.

The 3rd Cappadocia Academic Conference held during the Culture Week will feature in-depth exchanges of
October, 2024
perspectives by experts from both countries on the topic of ‘Creation and Spread of Culture’.

I hope that this event will serve as an opportunity to widely promote Korean culture and further develop mutually
beneficial cooperative relations between the two countries.
