A Successful Business venture through S-Combinator

       Boot Camp!

Starting up a business proposal is never easy. It
requires not just an individual but a team. A team

which works best when individuals, across many
disciplines, wearing different hats, gather to
stimulate and generate an idea for a feasible and
rational concept for a product or a service. With a

similar aim, this year's boot camp lead by the
College of Business, with their dean - Dr. Victor

Manabat, makes things possible by gathering Event Poster
representatives from different college courses, and the College of Psychology did not let it pass
without actively participating. This first virtual S-Combinator boot camp looks forward to

outputs conceptualize to be used as a tool for alleviating poverty.

This is a three-day boot camp, from June 16 -18, composing of five different groups with
members from diverse courses. On the orientation and first meet-up of the representatives,

groups were formed and asked to come up with their Company name - namely "PSYEIT OMHS,"

      "Solutech," "Rexpertise," "EFAS," and "CryptoCon."

activities (concept mapping & SCAMPER) to allow the
groups to have a deeper analysis on their specific

products/services. On the following day Sir Pedrito
Salvador, Ph D. discussed about how to develop
product concepts by focusing on Key Problems leading
to activity on "Whys", on the afternoon, Dr. Victor
Manabat, College of Business dean, detailed the
