               ABSTRACT

The study aimed to examine the effects of Acceptance Commitment Therapy on the levels of
Anxiety of K-12 teachers using a Quasi-Experimental Research Design. Participants were K-12
faculty who were selected using inclusion criteria. Levels of Anxiety of the respondents were
initially identified using the Emotional Stability Domain of HIPI. Those who met the criteria
were subjected to ACT therapy for ten (10) sessions. The results showed a marked decrease on
the levels of anxiety of the participants after the intervention was given. Since the efficacy of the
program was proven effective to lessen anxiety levels of the teachers, it is recommended that the
three core processes of ACT be the focus of efficacy of the program for the future studies.
