ABSTRACT
Many scholars opined that the success and failure of any organization depends on the kind of
culture present therein. Thus, to manage an organization with quality, it is important to remember
that it is not just a tool or technique but a value system that lies beneath its foundation.
Organizational culture as opined by Rosauer (2013) is more of a plan of action because of the
complexities inherent in organizations. As such he viewed organizational culture from three
perspectives wherein he focused his definition on three main elements namely: employees, work
and the customers. The idea was to basically aid leaders, work, employees and the customer as
well to become more determined towards the improvement of organizational culture as well as
its brand. As such, there is no universally accepted approach to quality management since there
are different corporate cultures. Organizational culture is dependent on the kind of industry, size
and location of the organization because there are underlying value systems that influence
people’s actions and behaviors Wu et. al., (2011). As such, the outcomes, methods and
performance of organizations are affected by its cultural settings and quality services. The study
describes the organizational culture and total quality management among faculty members of a
private educational Institution: basis for excellence in educational processes. More specifically, it
describes the perception of the respondents on organizational culture of the institution under
study. It determines the perception of the respondents on the total quality management among
employees of a private educational institution. It tests the significant relationship between
organizational culture and total quality management among employees. Lastly, a proposed
program for continuous improvement was tabled. Descriptive method of research was used to
gather data on organizational culture and total quality management. Respondents were randomly
selected using G-Power with a sample size of 63. Significant result revealed that the employees
agree on the dimensions of organizational culture and the integration of total quality management
in all of its educational processes. There is a significant relationship between organizational
culture and total quality management. A table to boost educational processes was presented.
