Ms. INDU TOBY
CHAIRPERSON, STUDENT AFFAIRS (2020-2021)
A notice is an announcement or intimation of something impending or a warning.
Surprisingly, in this modern world, we tend to miss notices. Notices are issued by
the government, nature and even by the human body. Failure to pay heed to
statutory notifications issued by the governing bodies puts the entire nation in
trouble. Failure to pay heed to nature’s notices puts us in natural calamities. When
we fail to attend to alarms raised by the body, we may land up in ill health.
This pandemic has defined new standards. The entire world has been witnessing a
very unusual way of life. It has shaken our psychological warning system, lowering
the threshold and making us sensitive to the weakest alarm. The covid situation has
made us realise the value of many things that had gone unnoticed. We never
noticed the abundant supply of oxygen by nature until we witnessed the entire
nation running for oxygen cylinders to sustain human lives. That was indeed a
moment to realise our blessings and so many are yet to be uncovered. Let us not
wait for the worst strokes to discern the abundant benefits endowed by nature.
This pandemic had shed light on many things that have gone unnoticed. I take this
opportunity to congratulate the entire editorial team lead by the amazing teacher
coordinator Ms Madhura and the bubbly duo, Ms Viswa & Ms Thejomayi for coming
out with such a beautiful e-magazine titled “ The things that go unnoticed”.
