Favorite teacher from college-
There is no overstating how important the role of a teacher can be in our life. All teachers are my
favorite teachers. Because each of them are unique in their teaching style, and in guiding and caring
for their students. The thoughts shared by them, the lessons they taught, and the amount of time
they spent with us have a great impact on me.

Most valued things in life-
• Education
• Job
• Family

Life value that is always held onto-
Loyalty.

Reason for you to choose your profession-
Teaching is a gratifying profession as it gives the satisfaction of working towards empowering
students.

Reason to stay in Manipal-
Manipal is the best place to work as it gives good opportunity for self-development in terms of
research and academic teaching along with other facilities. And, Manipal is my native and my family
is here.

Alternate job-
I would be working in the diagnostic field.

Things that go unnoticed-
• Efforts of teachers in understanding the capabilities of students and teaching to raise them as a
good human beings.
• Problems faced by students from lower income groups in learning, due to digitalization and
technology.

Student life and mindset change over the course of time-
Most of the students are with a good growing mindset towards education and life values. Being a
teacher, I have also observed few students with a false growth mindset where the efforts taken by
the teachers or elders in changing their mindset and behavior are not effective in changing their life.
This could be due to the impact of social media, inappropriate uses of internet facilities and other
technology, such as social networking sites.

A message for students-
Studying is an important part of education which is important for developing the knowledge and
quality of life. Apart from that, believe in yourself. Be kind and sincere. Respect each other, the
elders and your teachers. I wish you all the success! All the best for a bright future!
