Event Name: Fitness Competition

Description:
An Online Fitness Competition for all the students and interns of MCHP was
organized via Microsoft Teams, Live. The events for this competition were

Push Up, Sit Up and Plank . Maximum Push-Up and Sit-Up in 1 minute was
conducted and Plank with no time limit . Students and interns were allowed
to participate in all 3 or any 2 or any 1 of the event. The flyer, rules of the
competition, along with registration form was made and shared on

12/05/2021, which also mentioned the details of the competition along with
the last day of registration as 15/05/2021.
Within the given time frame of 4 days, we received 12 entries. In which, 11
students were able to participate. The time slots were assigned to the

students and the event continued for 3 days i.e. From 17/05/2021 to
19/05/2021. All of these sessions have been recorded and all 11 participants
have filled the feedback form. The recorded videos are sent to Mr. Baskaran
C, Assistant Professor of department of Exercise and Sports Science and Mr.

Prateek Srivastav, Assistant Professor of department of Physiotherapy to
judge. According to the scores given by the judges, the winners of the event
was announced on 21/05/2021. The winners of the event will also be receiving
a certificate from MCHP.

The 1st place winner of the plank, sit up and push up event in female category
is Ms. Janet Ann Varghese, 1st year Medical Radiation Physics student. Ms.
Smriti , 3rd year student of Bachelor of Occupational Therapy won 2nd place
in plank and push respectively and 3rd place in sit up of female category.

Ms.Kennice D’Souza, 1st year student of Bachelors in Health Information
Management won 3rd place in push up and plank in female category. Mr.
Adithya Kumar, 4th year student of Bachelors in Physiotherapy has won the
first place in push up male category. Mr. Ganesh, 3rd year student of

Bachelors in Optometry has won the 2nd place in push up male category. Mr.
Shreesha Aithal, 4th year student of Bachelors in Physiotherapy has won 3rd
place, 2nd place and 1st place in push up , sit up and plank respectively in
male category. Mr. Joel Lawrence Salins, 1st year student of Bachelors in

Physiotherapy has won 1st place and 2nd place in sit up and plank
respectively in male category . Mr. Pranav Mahesh Padukone,1st year student
of Bachelors in Physiotherapy has won 3rd place in sit up and plank in male
category.
