RESOURCES

People

Our people are by far our biggest and most important resource.

We currently have 54 permanent employees: 11 full-time, 37 part-time and 6 Modern
Apprentices, across the group (7 f/t & 15 p/t in Play Works and 4 f/t & 22 p/t in Simply
Play)

Buildings

We use a range of premises/sites to deliver our services:

• Our two offices, in Broxburn, are in units rented from Council

• We own Broxburn Family Centre outright

• The Range playground is on Council land but we own the building and all of the
structures

• The Dale Hub is in a portacabin rented from Council and its surrounding land is re-
zoned from the Housing Dept.

• Simply Play East Calder is in a building rented from Council

• Simply Play Livingston is on a rented let in Murieston Village Hall

• Simply Play at West Inch is in Simpson Primary Community Wing under a free
Council License To Occupy

• Wonder Woods is on rented private land

Vehicles

We own and operate a range of
vehicles to support our service
delivery:

• A Play Works minibus

• A Play Works “Vanbus”

• A Simply Play Minibus

• 3 people-carrier pool cars
