Tuition Reimbursement

Store Managers (who were in position of Store Manager at the beginning of the
fiscal year and who have been in the position of Store Manager for at least two [2] years)
and Home Office employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement. Eligible Store
Managers must be rated as promotable or high potential on the Succession Plan
and must have received an Outstanding or On-Target rating on their most recent
performance appraisal. AEO’s tuition reimbursement is to support our Associate’s
development as well as to allow the business to grow as the Associates reinvest their
knowledge back into AEO.

AEO will reimburse eligible Associates 100% of tuition fees and books for course work
passed with a grade of B or above. Payment will be capped at no more than $3,000
per year. AEO will reimburse for courses taken in accredited undergraduate/graduate
schools and colleges. The courses must be business/function related. Advanced
degrees must be a direct benefit to AEO and will be approved on an individual basis.
All courses must be pre-approved by the Benefits Department in tandem with
the Associate’s immediate manager. Application forms can be obtained by con-
tacting the Benefits Department. Completed applications must be submitted
to the immediate manager who will review the application and forward it to
the Benefits Department along with their recommendation. Applications must
be submitted to the Benefits Department before the course term begins.
