Leona offers a Section 125 program which is an IRS-approved
program that allows you to use pretax dollars to pay your
insurance premiums. Each pay period, Leona deducts your
premium BEFORE you pay taxes on that money, thereby
reducing your taxable income.
IRS regulations require that when you pay for your benefits on
a pretax basis, you must keep the coverage for the entire plan
year – unless you experience a qualified life status change.
