PTO PLAN
We provide you with the flexibility and control over your paid time off (PTO). The amount of PTO that an employee
accrues is based on several factors: length of service (as indicated by employment date); budgeted full-time equivalence
(“FTE”); hours worked per pay period, and PTO plan.
Note: Please refer to PTO Policy for specific details.
Paid time off banks consolidate holidays, traditional vacation, short-term sick and personal days into one “bank” which
allows you greater flexibility and control of your time off. You accrue PTO beginning on your date of hire, based on the
number of hours you actually work. You are able to access your PTO after completion of 90-days of service.
Bereavement pay and jury duty and military are paid separately from PTO time.
PTO may also be used at your discretion for low census or to augment short-term disability payments. Please
remember, it’s up to you to manage your bank to ensure you have time available for unforeseen circumstances. We
hope our generous PTO plan offers you the appropriate flexibility in managing your plan.
