The Community Development and Economic Development Allocations of the State CDBG program are published in a combined “Notice of Funding Availability” (NOFA) each program year. Eligible cities and counties may submit Community Development and Housing applications for CDBG funds under the 2021 NOFA for a maximum per application request of

ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES UNDER THE ABOVE ALLOCATIONS IN THE 2021 NOFA CONSIST OF: HOMEOWNERSHIP ASSISTANCE AND HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAMS; PUBLIC FACILITY AND PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS (INCLUDING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN SUPPORT OF NEW HOUSING CONSTRUCTION); PUBLIC SERVICE PROGRAMS, PLANNING STUDIES, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS ASSISTANCE AND MICROENTERPRISE ACTIVITIES.
