cidence numbers for 30 days in other areas of Reedley and surrounding areas range from 71 per 10K up to 125.
Sanger's top incidence rate, according to the Fresno Coun- ty's COVID data, 151 per 10K in the southeastern portion of the city. Northeast Sanger is at 146 while the northwestern portion of the city is at 136.
When it came to vaccina- tions, both counties continue to slowly build up the overall numbers. In Fresno County, the Department of Public Health's COVID website re- ported that as of Sept. 27 just more than 1.1 million people had been partially vaccinated.
Of that number, 482, 753 had received final doses.
Tulare County's COVID shot rates crept up to 417,065, with 229,990 (41.1 percent) fully vaccinated through Sept. 27. More than 8,000 people had received shots in the week pe- riod from Sept. 21 to Sept. 27.
One promising sign is that case rates among children and teens don't appear to be at a level where it is adversely af- fecting high school sports.
For the first time in the 2021 season, there were no game cancellations this past week — although the region's bad air quality did cause Oro- si High's football game to be switched from OHS to Ca- ruthers. The Cardinals won the game by a 31-29 score.
