Dinuba man arrested for child pornography
4 injured in solo crash on Highway 99 near Traver

Working off a ‘Cyber-Tip’ received from the Inter- net Crimes against Children (ICAC) Task Force, the Dinuba Police Department was able to arrest a Dinuba man for ac- cessing and exchanging child pornography.

There were 103 calls for service and no traffic citations were issued.
• A physical alteration was reported between two men in the 700 block of L Street. Neither man wished to press charges.
• A non-injury traffic colli- sion was reported in the area of 8th Street and Faller Av- enue.
• A female was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant in the 400 block of Academy Av- enue.
• A victim in the Eastwood and Hume avenues stated an unknown person had stolen her financial aid check and

Fierro is also a registered sex offender residing in the
city of Dinuba. He was taken into custody and booked into the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility for possession of child pornography.

Four Fresno men were injured, one seriously, when a car crashed after blowing out a tire on High- way 99 north of Traver in the early morning hours on May 3.
According to the Cali- fornia Highway Patrol, at about 1:25 a.m. a 1999
Lexus driven by 23-year- old Frankie Dennis Troff was traveling between 75 and 80 miles per hour north on 99 near the Mer- ritt Drive exit when for an unknown reason the right rear tire blew out, causing a spinout.

• A gray vehicle, possibly a Nissan, was reportedly egging houses in the 1700 block of East Gerald Av- enue at 8:32 p.m.

• Vandalism was reported in the 200 block of Nich- ols Avenue at 10:13 p.m. A neighbor reportedly heard someone break into a neighbor’s residence.
Friday, May 1
• Four juveniles report- edly jumped the fence onto Lincoln Elemen- tary School at 4:18 p.m. • A domestic distur- bance was reported in the 500 block of Lincoln
Avenue at 5:31 p.m. A male subject reported and disturbance with “his baby mama”.
• A non-injury traffic collision hit-and-run was reported in the area of Kamm and Crawford avenues at 10:50 p.m. The vehicle that fled the scene was described as a white GMC SUV.
Saturday, May 2
• Subjects were report- edly possibly staying in
a vacant residence in the 1100 block of Holden Avenue. It was reported at 10:47 a.m.
• A male subject, re- portedly diagnosed with schizophrenia, was threatening to kill one of his parents in the 200 block of South California Avenue. It was reported at 3:49 p.m.
• A theft report was made in the 700 block of West El Monte Way at 8:02 p.m. The sus-
pect reportedly left in a green truck.
Sunday, May 3
• A male subject was reportedly assaulted in the 700 block of Euclid Avenue at 12:41 a.m.
• A male subject was re- portedly making threats to kill his family in the 1900 block of East Moun-
tain View at 4:03 a.m.
• A grass fire was re- ported in the 41900 block of Road 96 at 5:41 p.m.
• Reckless drivers were reported in the 1800 block of Terrace Drive at 10:42 p.m. Subjects on motorcycles and quads were reportedly racing down the street.

• A domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of J Street. The suspect reportedly fled the scene prior to officers arriving.
• A sex offense was reported in the 1000 block of 8th Street. A female victim reported be- ing inappropriately tucked by a male subject. Investigation is ongoing.
Friday, May 1
There were 92 calls for ser- vice and 4 traffic citations were issued.
• A bike was reported stolen in the 300 block of Academy Avenue. A suspect was later identified and the bicycle located and returned to the victim.
• Employees reported finding a firearm in some bushes of a parking lot in the 700 block of Academy Avenue. The firearm was later determined to be a BB gun and was collected for destruction.
• Tires to a vehicle was report- edly slashed in the 2100 block of 5th Street.
• A female subject was arrest- ed on a outstanding warrant after being found as a passen- ger in a traffic stop in the area of 13th and O streets.
• A domestic disturbance be- tween a male and female was reported in the 300 block of J Street. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the male who was discovered as want- ed by the Sanger Police De- partment for a prior case. Af- ter being uncooperative with officers, the male subject was arrested in connection to the prior case and for obstructing/ delaying an officer’s investi- gation.
Saturday, May 2
There were 57 calls for ser- vice and 6 traffic citations were issued.
• Vandalism was reported in the 2200 block of Moir Street. A female reportedly scratched her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle dur- ing a domestic disturbance.
• A subject was arrested for trespassing and squatting on private property in the 200 block of Academy Avenue.
• A female subject was arrest- ed for being in possession of a controlled substance in the 400 block of Academy Avenue.
• A report of explicit photo- graphs being sent between middle-school-aged children was reported in the 400 block of L Street. An investigation is pending at this time.
• A was sent for a mental health evaluation after officers responded to the 800 block of DeWitt Avenue for a report of a family disturbance.

• Two subjects were arrested for trespassing and squatting on private property in the 200 block of Academy Avenue.
• A tailgate to a vehicle was re- ported stolen in the 1200 block
of Lyon Avenue.
• A window was reportedly smashed out at a residence in the 700 block of Palm Avenue. • A two vehicle non-injury traffic collision was reported in the 1600 block of 9th Street. • Stalking and battery on a person was reported in the 600 block of Bethel Avenue.
• Domestic violence was re- ported in the 300 block of J Street. The victim reportedly stated his spouse struck him several times during an argu- ment.
• A vehicle versus a pedestri- an collision was reported in the 2600 block of Myrtle Av- enue. A nine-year-old female reportedly ran into the road- way and was struck by a ve- hicle, causing minor to moder- ate injuries. The juvenile was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
• A vehicle stop was con- ducted on a vehicle occupied by several juveniles in the 80 block of Dalton Avenue. Upon consent search, open contain- ers were located and a juve- nile was cited before being released to a family member. • A broken entry door was found after a burglar alarm was reported in the 800 block of Academy Avenue. No signs of theft were found.
