THE ROYAL ARMY PHYSICAL TRAINING CORPS KING’S CORONATION DINNER
Resplendent with a significant dose of red and black, on Saturday 17 November 2023 the Fox
Gymnasium that we all know so well was transformed for the night to host a Dinner to celebrate the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III. Over 240 serving and retired Officers, WOs
and SNCOs of the Corps and their guests gathered to mark the occasion. Our Colonel Commandant, Lieutenant General James Bashall CB CBE led the formalities and provided a short update on the Corps and its broader family that incorporates all RAPTC Association Members. During his address, the
Colonel Commandant took great pleasure in reading from a letter that had been received from Buckingham Palace and conveyed the thanks and best wishes of His Majesty King Charles III.
