WHAT’S ON
Getting out and about...
THRAPSTON & RAUNDS ROTARY CLUB
Club members are aware that the months after Christmas can be a time when some people feel a bit down. Christmas gifts seem a distant memory, and it can be a lonely period for some people. We decided to see if we could help, and sought suggestions of people who might benefit from a small gift. In the autumn we planted a large number of bowls of hyacinths in groups of 3 which we hoped would make an acceptable small present for local people, and these were distributed earlier in the year.
Our annual Charity Fundraising Quiz at Stanwick Village Hall has not only proved to be a very popular evening but also a good fundraiser over the years. Whilst details were still being finalised at the time of writing it is expected
that the event will now take place on May 7th.
Please put the date in your diary and look out
for details on our Club Facebook page.
