DEFENCE SCHOOL OF TRANSPORT LECONFIELD
WO2 (QMSI) C Hames RAPTC
The Defence School of Transport
(DST) is, for those of you who have
attended ‘top gear’ courses here,
perceived to be a sleepy hollow. This
couldn’t be further from the truth with
regards the Gymnasium facilities. Physical
and Adventurous Training and Sporting
Activities are high on the agenda and are
well supported and encouraged.
Phase 2 students transiting through,
generally 3 months, are subject to a
rotating but varied 6 weeks PT programme
with 4 sessions per week culminating
weekly in a Battle PT session the likes
of which they would experience at an
Infantry unit on MST; it’s all good! Phase 3
students rotate through on a much higher
ratio and are not always captured on PT

are thinking of a posting here I would
thoroughly recommend it, do not listen
to the guys that talk it down, they have
clearly never visited the gym!!
