 The Eagle Dinning Club
The Annual Eagle Dining Club was held at Lucas House, Birmingham Corps of Drums Beat Retreat before Dinner by Kind permission of University in May when many old friendships were renewed. The Lt Col D G Bridges MBE, TD.

  Rugeley
The Rugeley Branch paraded with the Staffordshire Regiment Association the occasion of the Rugeley Charter Day Celebrations. Brian Jones and Richard Bates paraded the Standards.

  Nottingham
Members of the Nottingham Branch at their Social evening held at the Royal Navy Association Club in Nottingham. Sadly the Branch had to move from the Robin Hood Rifles Club as some members were finding it difficult to access the clubrooms via the outside stairs. Nevertheless an excellent evening was enjoyed at the new venue.

                                 Armed Forces Day
The Crowds gathered around the Kidderminster, Walsall & Wolverhampton Branches Stall at the Armed Forces Day held at Himley Hall, Dudley Albert Barton received his Veterans badge from the Mayor of Dudley at the Armed Forces

also to the Barnet family; members of the Kidderminster Branch for organising a ‘Fun Day’ held at The Duke of Wellington Inn, Callow Hill, Bewdley as part of the Armed
Forces day celebrations. The Stockport Branch, their partners and guests attended the now annual Armed Forces Dinner held at The Armoury Stockport on Saturday
25 June. It was an excellent evening with 130 sitting down for a 5 course dinner
with drinks. We were then entertained by a singer and later a disco that continued until the early hours of the morning. The event was again organised by Paul and Hazel Lomas and our thanks go out to them for the great deal of planning that was required.
