Lincoln Rabbit was up and dressed before his wife woke up. Their little daughter, Layla played at the table having enjoyed an early breakfast before her mum came downstairs.
‘Lincoln, why are you up this early?’ she asked picking up baby Grace from her crib. ‘You haven’t forgotten about my meeting with Wisdom today, have you?’
‘No. I’ll be back before you go. I want to be on time for my interview, Daisy. I’ve been told that Mrs Hedgehog is a stickler for good time-keeping. Come and sit down and have your breakfast and I will see you all later,’ he said kissing his wife and daughters.
