At Badger’s house, more paperwork had been pushed under his door for him to brood over. Another meeting had been held where Wisdom had discussed and agreed Sam Hedgehog’s decoy plan. They had also made a list of the animals that had strayed into Barns Wood. Most of them were either friends, or relatives on summer holiday, who had been accounted for by Charlie and his two allies. They were left with a large strong bird, a fox, a heron, a stalker in the wood and Daisy’s mink.
