Chairman’s Report – Cllr Karen Draycott
As we enter Autumn with holidays taken and children back to school, I have been thinking about the packed summer we have had. It started with the week of
the Arts Festival in June, then there was the Teddy Bear’s picnic in the Peace Park in August. The weekly Kids Film Club at the Plaza during the summer holidays has been well attended,

building. We would hope for a positive outcome in the very near future and will keep you updated.
The Mayoral charity this year is Mind and we are currently seeking to find a permanent place for Mind in Thrapston. to attend our annual Civic event and come to the Plaza afterwards for light refreshments where you will be serenaded by the beautiful singing of the Allegra choir. I hope to see you there.
Donations made by residents who collect the dog poo bags from the Town Council office, and the library on Saturdays, now total £497.18.
This is a fantastic amount and is being put to good use by the Cinnamon Trust who look after the pets of elderly and terminally ill people.
