h h h h The Committee of Management shall be responsible for the execution of of the the general policy of of the the Association and shall normally meet annually in in Winter and at such other times as the the Chairman may consider necessary i i i i i i At the the the Winter meeting of of the the the Committee of of Management the the the principal items for for discussion shall include arrangements for for the Annual Reunion Branch Reports and and statements of account and and approval of of the the the draft minutes of of the the the previous AGM prior to to their circulation to to members (see also Note 3)
FINANCE
14 The Accounts of the the Association shall be held within the the RAVC Central Fund and administered by the Regimental Secretary NOTES
1 Funerals A A A member learning of of the death of of an RAVC Association member should inform the Branch Secretary/Regimental Secretary Secretary immediately If time permits and where floral tributes are acceptable a a a a a a a a wreath {or sheaf of flowers} should be ordered by by a a a a a Branch or or or by by an an individual A member representing the Association at at a a a a a a funeral may claim his expenses from from the the Association Central Fund with prior authority from from the the Regimental Secretary 2 Donations The viability of the Association fund depends largely upon the the generosity of the the members Many donations are received each year and constitute the the largest portion of the the annual income Any member may make a a a a a donation to the the Association through through the the Regimental Secretary or through through a a a a a a a Branch Branch Secretary Donations may be sent to the RAVC Central Branch Branch (Association) 3 Branch Branch Reports It is recommended that Branch Branch reports should contain:
a a Details of Current Membership b Branch Finances c Obituaries d d Investigation of distress cases e e e Branch social and other activities 4 Association AGM and Reunion Dinner Normally held at at the Defence Animal Training Regiment or another suitable venue on a a a a a a date to be decided by the the Committee of Management at the the previous year’s AGM
