IT’S BACK – THE PHOTOGRAPHY AND CRUISING LOG COMPETITION FOR 2020
With this edition, RSYC re-launches its “Photography and Cruising Log Competition” for members. This is the ideal opportunity to share your photographic and writing skills.
The aim of the photography competition is
of their own cruising ventures, or of one of the club rallies.
Both competitions will close for RSYC members on Friday 2nd October 2020. Winners will be announced at the Cruisers’ Laying Up Lunch on Saturday, October 31st.

‘Ouistreham at Sunset’ – Runner-up ‘On the Water’ 2018 by Cathy Lacey
‘Morlaix Viaduct’ – Runner-up ‘Ashore’ 2018 by Cathy Lacey
to capture all aspects of sailing activities on the water, be it cruising or racing, as well as the atmosphere of social events and other club activities ashore at Gins, and other locations. Photos are not restricted to being taken in Solent waters, and can be taken with any type of camera.
The three categories are:
1. On the water
2. Ashore
3. Club personalities
Please note a maximum of three photos
per category can be submitted per entrant. As a separate competition, cruisers are invited to submit an illustrated cruising log
