The Regt is renowned within the RA for it’s sporting prowess and strives to develop all soldiers within the Regt, with representation at Corps, Army and National Levels.
I have been building the rugby team since the rst week I started here and the team have improved in leaps and bounds. They had a great 2016/17 season nishing joint 2nd in the Champ 2 South West League and got us through to the Vase Semi- nals to play the Corinthians RFC in Hereford. The Corinthians (predominately SSR personnel) made the game a very physical affair, nonetheless we came out on top winning the game 32-12. 1 RHA went on to play 5 Ri es in the nal but narrowly lost 32-17, it was an end to end game and could have gone either way.
Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with 1 RHA and would recommend it to anyone. I look forward to my nal year here, time truly ies when you are having fun.
