7 REGIMENT ROYAL LOGISTIC CORPS

7Regiment RLC forms part of the 102 Logistic Brigade and is made up of supply specialists, drivers, chefs, clerks and REME vehicle mechanics. Every year the Regiment takes
part in the Commanding Officers Cup, which includes a number of sport and military competitions. All four Sqns have been battling it out throughout the year, completing eight competitions towards the Antar Trophy. The final competition of the year was a Tough Mudder competition, which saw over 100 competitors taking part. The competition consisted of a 3.5-mile x-county route, which also included Water S-Tanks, Hay bales and many other obstacles for competitors to complete. All sqn’s displayed great grit and determination in all competitions; displaying heaps of courage and commitment. The standard had been set, with 9 Sqn taking the overall prize and winners for the Commanding Officers cup 2018.
The event also raised money for the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF), raising a total of £430.
