Overview and Instructions
The following Guide pages are designed to provide quick access to job site activity
hazards and associated Cal OSHA requirements.
The next page (Table) includes links to general regulatory information for each subject,
where you will find direct links to the applicable Cal OSHA regulations*. Each activity is
associated to the Trades in which they apply.
For the purpose of evaluating content of a subcontractor’s JHA, locate the Trade in the
top row and ensure that their JHA includes content for each check mark in the column
below the selected Trade.
When clicking on a subject on the left green column, the user is brought to that
particular detail page within the CAL OSHA Construction Guidebook. Once at the detail
page, the user will have the option of clicking on the regulation links which will take
them to the Cal OSHA website * showing the regulation selected.
• It is required to have internet service to access the Cal OSHA website
regulations. All other content is contained within this document and is always
accessible.
If you have any questions on how to use this Guide or if you have any questions
regarding the Cal OSHA regulations on how they may or may not apply to your
job site, please contact Chris Kim.
