4. Flight reservations can be made by calling a travel agent, calling an airline directly,
or accessing various websites.
5. Purchased airline tickets can be electronic, paper, or mail, or picked up at the airport.
6. Travel agents provide flight itinerary and invoice with airline tickets, which are
used to create the traveller’s itinerary.
7. Arrive at the airport early for check-in, security checkpoints, and luggage checks.
Use a current photo ID and check the luggage tag for the correct destination code.
8. Avoid packing valuable items in checked luggage and comply with security
requests.
9. Do not carry items from strangers and check with the airline for prohibited items,
such as knives, lighters, and strike-anywhere matches.
