We must pay tribute to the remarkable work of the Fund's employees who have
enabled us to receive our monthly pension.
However, postal problems in the United States have had an impact on the
transmission of the Entitlement Certificates. We strongly recommend that our
members register in the MSS or opt for mobile transmission via facial recognition
but we assure you that the paper option is still guaranteed.
Relations with the UNSMIS health insurance: The meetings were effective for our
two representatives (Mohammed Sebti and Pierre Vangeleyn) in virtual mode.
France Henry has continued to help our members who have difficulties with their
claims.
Again, the use of computerised transfers improves matters but is of course only an
option.
We would like to thank the staff of the Fund for their dedication.
The health insurance schemes of the other organisations also performed their
duties without fail.
Participation in FAFICS activities: As travel possibilities were suspended, it was
necessary to reinvent ourselves. The first Board meeting could be held in Paris in
February 2020.
The Council was therefore held virtually in December after many Bureau meetings.
AAFI-AFICS maintained an important place in the Federation:
A vice-president, Odette Foudral, a member of the delegation to the Joint
Pensions Committee, Mohammed Sebti, a vice-president to the standing
committee on health insurance in retirement, Katia Chestopalov. Katia also
participated in the work to amend the Federation's Rules of Procedure. In addition,
Wolfgang Milzow is Treasurer and Ventura Garcia Garnateo and Mohammed
Rharha are Auditors.
We hope that the changes in the functioning of the Federation will allow it to
involve all the beneficiaries of the pension fund.
