OUR PENSION FUND

Of course you hear the worst unfounded rumours about the reliability of our Fund.
Fortunately these are just rumours and despite a more than volatile market, our assets
still cover the Fund's financial obligations for the future.
We are fortunate that the contributions almost cover the expenses (pensions and
administrative costs). As a result, the Fund does not need to sell securities.

Our Fund has also proved its responsiveness, as in October many countries received a
pension adjustment linked to soaring inflation. Of course, one can always be dissatisfied
as inflation is never ending and the next update will only be in April based on the
December figures.
However, our thoughts are with the pensioners who receive minimum pensions; given
the situation in some countries, this must be dramatic.
