68. At the client service level, some activities have been grouped (see our note of
                     20 December 2018): UNSMIS (S-033 and S-035); Pension Fund (S-060) and
GPAFI (S-058). However, for the time being AAFI-AFICS remains in E-2078.

                 69. We have not had sufficient time to create new groups or coffee mornings,
although the reports on loneliness are very worrying. Nor have we been able to
convince all our members of the necessity to send us an e-mail address. Our
appeal in the July 2018 Bulletin did bring results and we have received many
address changes before the publication of a new list.
                 70. Fix new objectives, including:

                     a. To follow closely, within FAFICS, progress on medical coverage after
retirement, an area to which the UN General Assembly has accorded a
great deal of attention for many years, remembering always that all
countries are faced with financial difficulties.

                     b. To continue to be present, through FAFICS, in all relevant bodies, and to
keep you informed … for the best we hope.

            E. THANKS
                 71. We wish to thank those of our members who successfully organize get
togethers, such as the Nyon Group, led by Pauline Nicholls, that meets at the
Café Cham’, route de St. Cergue 2, Nyon, or the Group in Ferney-Voltaire,
under Carl Freeman, who meet on the last Monday of each month at midday at
                     the Restaurant Voltaire, 10 Grand’Rue, Ferney-Voltaire. A place to meet and a
little goodwill is all that is needed. The Shakespeare Group of members inspired
by English literature also continues to meet regularly, under the leadership of
                     Jack Martin.

                 72. The Association is also able to function thanks to volunteers outside the
Committee, translators and interpreters for the General Assembly, and our IT
expert. A warm thanks to all of them.

                 73. We also express our deep gratitude to:
                         The Director-General of UNOG

                         The UNOG Administration

                         The Security Service

The Printing and Distribution Services who administer the dispatch of the
                             Bulletin
                         The IT Service

The Association wishes to renew its gratitude and support to the staff of the
                             UNJSPF Office at Geneva

And once again to stress the active participation of the sister associations in
Geneva in the work of the Committee, for which we extend our warmest
                             thanks.
