61. The UNJSPF Pension Board held its 65 session from 26 July to 3 August 2018
at the FAO in Rome, Italy. The results of its discussions are resumed in a
communiqué issued for the first time by the President, the Vice-Presidents and
the Rapporteur for the meeting (see Annex V). AAFI-AFICS was represented by
Mohammed Sebti, who was a member of the FAFICS delegation.
62. The Pension Board submitted the report of its 65 session (the report is
th
available on our website) later in a different format to the 73 session of the UN
rd
General Assembly which examined it together with several other pertinent
documents. This resulted in A/RES/73/274 adopted on 22 December 2018 (see
Annex VII).
63. The implementation of the recommendations and decisions of the General
Assembly will be studied by all those concerned (Pension Board, the
secretariats of all the Pension Committees of the organizations who are
members of the Fund, the Bureau and member associations of FAFICS), Their

D. FOR 2019, we propose to:
65. Continue our activities in all the above fields where we have obtained results in
2018, and particularly within FAFICS which will hold its 48 session in
th
Nairobi on Monday 15 July 2019 (meeting of the two permanent committees on
pensions and ASHI), and from Tuesday 16, to Thursday, 18 July, for the
Council session.
66. Continue to pursue the objectives we did not attain in 2018, namely:
67. We did not manage to induce sufficient new members to sit on the Committee
and participate actively in its activities. We have, however, been fortunate to
recruit Carol Cosgrove-Sachs who is going to look into the problem and identify
original solutions.
