Access to the United Nations Library

We are pleased to see that the Library has now reopened to the public.

Monday to Friday
8.30am to 5.30pm

The Library & Archives is located inside the United Nations in Geneva, in the B building
of the Palais des Nations.

Visitors must enter via the Pavillon de Pregny.

SSR to stop FM broadcasting by the end of the year

SSR has been planning this move for over 10 years and has now made it public.
France will follow in 2033.

Since 2016, Switzerland has been using DAB+ more than FM.

DAB+ reduces network maintenance costs and electro smog. It is 12.7 times more

spectrum-efficient than FM, thus freeing up some spectrum for other uses (e.g.
emergency services).
