The first day was spent on pensions with the presence of Acting Executive Secretary
Janice Dunn Lee and on the second day on the presentation of the Representative of
the Secretary General in charge of investments of the Fund, Mr Sudhir Rajkumar. The
Pension Fund is financially sound and the 3.5% long-term return objective continues to
be met despite fluctuations in the stock market.

The subject of pensions is considered one of the most important points for
            retirees.

The second important topic is always health insurance coverage after retirement. This
subject is dealt with in our general meeting report.

In order to allow the Federation to function it was necessary to increase the dues paid
by each association from 1, 5 dollars to 2 dollars per member.

The elections of the Bureau renewed the President, Marco Breschi, Pierre Sayour,
Secretary and Wolfgang Milzow, treasurer. At the Vice-President level, there were 9
candidates for 5 positions and the results are as follows:

NDIAYE Miriam Coulibaly, AMAFINU-Mali, FOUDRAL Odette, AAFI-AFICS Geneva,
BARTON Jerry, ARICSA-Vienna, SACH Warren, AFICS-New York and MASOOD A.K.
            Ahmed, AFUNSOB-Bangladesh.

The delegation to the Joint Committee is renewed for 2020: it consists of Marco Breschi,
Gerhard Schramek, Warren Sach, Linda Saputelli, Adriana Gomez and Mohammed
            Sebti.

The Council allowed very constructive exchanges and the Geneva delegation
intervened at best to respect the mandate given by its Committee. We will return next
year to a 4-day Council to deepen the operating issues of the Federation.

                                                                           Translation: Michèle VIEILLE

Eleven years ago, a group of former international officials, mostly retired from the United

the Association of Former International Civil Servants for Development. Its membership
has been enlarged to include former officials of the host country Switzerland and the
