Rhino import plugin
The open source 3DM format is a native Rhino
format used for working with NURBS and polygon
geometry. Since version 3.9.1, CAD Exchanger offers
a plugin for importing over 20 CAD formats right in
the Rhino interface.
The capabilities of the Rhino plug-in from CAD
Exchanger include several neutral (JT, Collada, IFC)
and native (Siemens NX, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS)
formats, as well as geometric kernel formats (ACIS,
Parasolid) that are not supported by the design
system itself.
