The Need
Currently, our gastroenterology clinics are unable to meet the needs of the Negev’s population,
it does not allow us to provide services to the large numbers of patients in need of our services. The
result of this situation is that appointments are unavailable, waiting times are long, and diagnosis
and treatment of disorders is often delayed, compromising patients’ health and well-being. A lack of
necessary infrastructure is currently preventing us from providing a number of essential services.
The Project
Upgrading of the clinics compound is expected to expand our annual patient volume by 30%,
thus significantly shortening waiting times for expert medical diagnosis and treatment.
We are planning on expanding two major services: A bariatric clinic and a multidisciplinary clinic.
Provision of these cutting-edge services requires the clinic compound to undergo much-needed
reconstruction and renovation that will allow us to expand its infrastructure and offer patients a
comfortable environment tailored to their needs.
These advancements will assist in narrowing gaps in access to specialized medical services
between the Negev and the central region of Israel.
Amount requested for naming: $750,000
Prominent donor recognition will be provided in the new clinic area.
The donor will be listed on the Soroka Donors’ Wall of Honor.
The donor will be our honored guest at a dignified public dedication ceremony.
