Rehabilitation Apartment
The Need
One of the most well-known challenges in
rehabilitation is practicing independent daily
functioning at home before discharge from the
hospital. The classic hospital environment does
not allow the patient to be taught to function
at home in terms of bathing, using the home
bathroom, preparing food, washing dishes, and
so on.
The Project
A rehabilitation training apartment at the new
rehabilitation center will allow patients to learn
how to conduct all of these activities and assist
greatly in returning them to their homes with as
much independence as possible.
Amount requested for naming the training
apartment: $500,000
Prominent donor recognition will be provided at
the new rehabilitation center at Soroka Medical
Center.
The donor will be listed on the Soroka Donors’
Wall of Honor.
The donor will be our honored guest at a dignified
public dedication ceremony.
