The Project
The establishment of an ophthalmology imaging institute at Soroka will enable
the coordination of all the necessary tests and provide rapid, readily available,
and efficient service that will shorten waiting times and prevent patients from
having to seek services elsewhere.
Such an institute will allow us to perform large-scale screening tests and
accumulate great deal of knowledge that will enable us to conduct research
in the field of artificial intelligence and image processing (which already takes
place today in the department).
Amount requested for naming the ophthalmology imaging
institute: $1,000,000
Prominent donor recognition will be provided at the ophthalmology
imaging institute.
The donor will be listed on the Soroka Donors’ Wall of Honor.
The donor will be our honored guest at a dignified public dedication
ceremony.
