Nursing training
programs
at Soroka

Each year, hundreds of nursing students take part in our
nursing training programs.

We also train hundreds of registered nurses in advanced
training in intensive care, obstetrics,
breastfeeding consultation, gastroenterology, emergency
medicine, clinical guidance, diabetes, pediatric intensive
care, rehabilitation, oncology, stroke, infection prevention,
operating room nursing, and serious wound healing.

Advanced nursing courses allow nurses to advance
professionally, make clinical decisions, solve problems,
promote health and provide professional, high-quality,
and safer care in hospitals and the community.

We adapt new nursing specialties as soon as they are
approved by the Ministry of Health. Nurse practitioners
are now assisting patients in many fields: surgery,
preterm infants, diabetes, geriatrics, palliative care. We
will be expanding this service on an annual basis.
