From Students Becoming a good doctor is a daunting
to Doctors: undertaking that requires years of study and
Educating the practical experience in the field. As a teaching
Next Generations hospital, Soroka is an excellent place for young
of Physicians physicians to gain that experience.
Our doctors teach at the Faculty of Health
Sciences of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev,
our close affiliate and a leading center of research,
as well as at the Ben-Gurion University Medical
School for International Health, imparting their
knowledge and expertise to new generations of
physicians.
Soroka’s doctors are known nationally and
internationally for their outstanding training of
physicians who face the challenges of twenty
first- century clinical medicine and research. In
2021 we trained hundreds of medical students,
approximately 150 interns, and more than 400
residents.
