June, 2020

Dear Bera Family,

I hope this note finds you well.

In June 2018, we inaugurated the Raymond & Nicette Bera Ophthalmology Clinic, which has led to a significant improvement
in the scope and quality of treatment provided to the residents of the Negev. Thanks to your generous and noble contribution,
our patients and staff have been enjoying the new, spacious facility, which meets the highest international standards.

I remember very well your words and the concepts you referred to, Mr. Bera, at the clinic’s opening ceremony.
You spoke of solidarity and of doing good for others. I would like to share with you two examples of how we have acted in the
spirit of your remarks.

The outbreak of the coronavirus brought with it a new and challenging reality. The healthcare system is at the forefront of the
fight against the virus and must continue to provide the best medical treatment possible to all patients—COVID-19 patients
and patients with other diseases and conditions.

The Raymond & Nicette Bera Ophthalmology Clinic is also dealing with the repercussions of the crisis, including the reluctance
of many patients to visit hospitals to receive treatment due to their fears of becoming infected with the coronavirus.
In light of this situation, the medical staff became concerned about patients’ health and the preservation of their vision,
both in terms of diagnosis and follow-up and in terms of the treatment of their existing conditions.

In order to assist our patient population, a dialogue was initiated between the Raymond & Nicette Bera Ophthalmology Clinic
and its patients with the aim of promoting our understanding of their essential needs in this difficult period. Two projects whose
goal is to provide vitally important treatment, ensure continuity of treatment and follow-up, and create a sense of confidence in
patients who are worried about the virus have resulted from this dialogue.
