Capacity Building
17.9 Enhancing international support for putting into practice effective and
targeted capacity building in keeping with goals set by developing countries,
to assist in implementing national plans regarding Sustainable Development
Goals.
Trade
17.10 Promoting a universal, equitable, open, multilateral, rules-based,
non-discriminatory trading system under the World Trade Organization,
through negotiating under the WTO’s Doha Development Agenda.
17.11 Substantially increasing the exports of developing countries, especially
with a view to doubling the least developed countries’ share of global exports.
17.12 Realizing the long-lasting implementation of tax-free and custom-free
market access for all least developed countries, in keeping with the World Trade
Organizations’ decisions. Including by guaranteeing that preferential rules of
origin applicable to imports from least developed countries are transparent
and simple, and contribute to facilitating market access.
Systemic Issues: Coherence of Countries and Institutions
17.13 Enhancing global macroeconomic stability, including through policy
coordination and coherence.
17.14 Enhancing policy coherence for sustainable development.
17.15 Respecting the policy space and leadership of each country to set up
and implement policies for poverty eradication and sustainable development.
Partnerships among multiple stakeholders
17.16 Enhancing the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development,
supplemented by multi-stakeholder partnerships which coordinate and share
knowledge, expertise, technology and financial resources to support the
achievement of Sustainable Development Goals in all countries, especially
developing countries.
17.17 Motivating and promoting effective public, public-private and civil
society partnerships based on their expertise and strategies of partnerships.
