Melanie: My brother Rob (1) sent to me / sent me an interesting article last night. He’s

Ross: Ikaros? What’s that?
Melanie: It’s a spacecraft that uses solar power instead of rocket fuel. It has a huge

The sail measures just over 46 square feet (14.1 square meters). Light from
the sun (4) hits to the sail / hits the sail and bounces off. This allows Ikaros

Ross: Wow! I’m sure Ikaros didn’t get into space on its own, though . . .
Melanie: No, Ikaros couldn’t (6) take off / take away from Earth on its own. It was

Ross: And where is Ikaros going?
