        St art ing  Point --  back  the  car  in  so  it  can  be
        pushed out of the garage for more clearance to
        get the engine out later.

        First  Step  is  to  remove  the  interior  so  we  can
        access  the  top  engine  to  transmission
        attachment  bolts.  This  was  relatively  easy
        because  the  carpet  is  attached  with  snaps.
        Remove  the  dash  support,  pull  the  seats,
        remove parking brake and transmission tunnel.

        Rick  Mathis  and  Len  Melanson  showed  up  the
        next  day  and  we  got  started  removing  engine
        components.First Rick and I removed the hood
        for better access to the engine.






        To  make  sure  it  goes  back  on  in  the  correct
        position,  he  marked  the  mount  points  with  a
        silver sharpie










        From  there  Rick  removed  the  radiator,  valve
        cover  and  distributor  while  I  removed  the
        carburetors and intake manifold.

                                                 Len worked on the alternator and heater and oil cooler lines.
