From JD:
" We got the car at the shop in February of 2017.
It was in in an advanced state of disassembly.
Bob's [the current owner] father was restoring the
car as his retirement project but unfortunately
passed away during the job (which was sometime
in the 1990s).
We had to loosely assemble the car both to see
what it was supposed to look like and to inventory
the parts so we would know what was missing and All gauges were sent off to be rebuilt and restored
then take it apart, again. by a specialty firm in England.
We were heavily dependent on other TB14 owners
to send us detailed photos of specific areas of the
car. Experts from a company in England called
Red Triangle, Alvis suppliers and restorers, were
of tremendous help.
We finished the car in 2021. It was the biggest
challenge we have ever had at the shop. "
