     Method
 Preheat the oven to Gas 4/180°C.
 Line a full size baking pan with non stick parchment.
 Place all the ingredients into a large bowl.
 Using an electric mixer beat for 8-10 minutes until pale and creamy.
 Spread evenly into the cake tin.
 Cook for 40-45 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake come out clean.
 Stand for 5 mins before turning onto a wire rack to cool
   Drizzle Icing
 Sieve the icing sugar in to a bowl. Mix in enough water to make a runny drizzle icing. Pour on the top of the sand cake once it has cooled completely.
