Day 24 - I Receive the Blessing of Wise Counsel

            Scripture:
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth
in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful, But his delight is in
the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall
be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his
season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
            Psalm 1: 1-3 KJV

            Reflection:
Consider this: When we are out of prosperity, we are off our walk. Prosperity is
a gain in anything good or desirable; it is not just financial success, but it includes
that as well. Prosperity is reaching a goal so of course it would look differently
for each of us. Still God’s promise is for each of us to prosper.

If we are not advancing, we have to check ourselves and the company we keep.
                                            th
My elders’ wise counsel was to not be the 5 dummy to a crowd of 4. But trust
me, advancement is not an elevator ride straight up.

We may have some hills and valleys; but in due season, we will receive the
blessing of good company and wise counsel.

            Prayer:
Dear God, thank you for blessing our commitment to walk uprightly. Thank you
for making us fruitful when we join together in wise counsel. We lift our attention
to you and your law. We turn away from evildoing and evildoers. We meditate
on your Law Day and night. We ask that our prayer be acceptable in your sight.
We rejoice in you planting us with roots in the water. We are grateful that the
living waters nurture our foundation. After the completion of growth, thank you
for allowing us to birth fruitful relations, fruitful enterprises, fruitful projects,
fruitful businesses, fruitful families, fruitful ministries, fruitful churches. We
Honor You. We Love You. We Praise You. We Give Thanks
