               2. Student Participation in the Planning and Implementation of Policies
                   and Activities Concerning their Welfare

The president of the Federation of Student Councils sits as the Student
Regent in the IFSU BOR. The University Supreme Students’ Government (USSG)
was created to serve as a link between the administration, the faculty and the
students. During the Administrative Council meeting, the USSG president is
present when issues concerning the students are discussed. The University
President does not approve any training design or activity where the students
are concerned without the endorsement by the president of the student
               organization.

Students are always consulted for any proposal that affects them: increase in
school fees, curricular revision, Christmas program, College Day, what to do with
the Student Development fee, how much is the down payment of students upon
enrolment, research fee, extension fee, etcetera. This is part of the completed
               staff work requirement.
