1      Larutan Penyangga (Science)




               A. Pengertian Larutan Penyangga

                                                             Larutan penyangga atau disebut juga larutan
                                                             buffer    adalah    larutan    yang    dapat

                                                             mempertahankan        pH    meskipun     ada


                                                             penambahan  sedikit  asam,  basa,  atau
                                                             pengenceran.

                                                             Contoh  :  Jika  50  mL  larutan  penyangga

                                                             asetat 1 M ditambahkan 1 mL larutan HCl 1
                                                             M, pH larutan turun dari 4,74 menjadi 4,72.


                                                             Sehingga,  dapat  disimpulkan  jika  larutan
